Working with a Realtor

Homebuying can be easy and fun and it should be. It all depends on whether or not you feel comfortable with what you know about the process. Knowledge of the process is why it's so important to work with a Realtor. When you see a sign in the yard, do you know who that agent is representing? The seller! A buyer's agent represents only the buyer. YOU! Don't make the biggest purchase of your life without having your own buyer's agent looking out for you.

Some people are intimidated by the thought of working exclusively with one agent. However, that is the one thing that can make the buying process so much easier. Your agent knows what you want, what areas interest you and the details of your mortgage. If you haven't been pre-approved to purchase, your agent can help you with the approval process.

To work exclusively with a Realtor costs you nothing, but there is so much to gain. Your agent can show and sell you any property, in any area, regardless of what company or agent has the property listed. You don't have to call the name on the sign! Call YOUR agent! YOUR agent is looking out for YOUR best interests. An agent that knows their clients wants and needs can preview properties to determine whether or not that property will meet your needs. Previewing properties saves you time and can make the process seem less overwhelming.

To partner with an agent is easy. Simply mention to a Realtor that you would like to work exclusively with them to help in your search for a new home and it's as easy as signing a buyer's representation agreement. This agreement simply states that you want to work with that agent and only with that agent. Your agent, in turn, agrees to exclusively represent YOU and YOUR best interests in all aspects of the transaction from finding the home to closing the deal.

Buying a home can be an enjoyable experience and YOUR Realtor can be your biggest asset. Won't you call today??
